Borderguard v0.12
A downloadable game
This is a very small city-builder project I wrote for the Amstrad CPC computers. It's written fully in locomotive basic and uses UDGs for its graphics. One of 24 governors can be chosen and his or her leadership and magic-based stats can be slightly enhanced. The game's main interface is set through several icons. As of version 0.12, building and destruction of created buildings to recover resources is possible. All available buildings can currently be created on the map as long as the resources cost is covered. Food is consumed but without consequences at this point and buildings produce resources related to them normally. All available combat units can be seen in the training options, but at this point cannot yet be recruited or deployed on the map. The 'e' key can be used to cancel the building and destruction options when navigating the map.
I'm currently satisfied with the progress and I'm open to feedback from people. If there is any interest, I might invest more time in adding extra elements to the main program. Last update : 21/8/2025

Thanks for the video and the overall attention, my friend. You still remain as active as I remember you 2 years ago. I'll probably be able to add units in the upcoming version next week. Graphics are already prepared.
Cool, very nice :)
A small update was made to the game. Resources are produced & consumed, units are integrated and their stats decided. Future version will probably have some goblin enemies to actually turn this the prototype into an actual game.
I will see , thanks :)
